Public Comments:
A.     Jim Gelios:  Airport restaurant should be opening by June 1.  The new Health Park should be open in the fall.  It will also have a dental clinic.  The Health Department now housed  in the County Court House, will at some time be moving to the the Health Park.
B.     Undersheriff Dwayne Miedzianowski:  415 incidents this month.  Will expect the B & E reports to increase Memorial Day weekend, as more residents come back for the summer.

Consent Agenda Section:  Moved by Terry Acton to approve, 2nd by John Scherrer.  All in favor. M/C
Department Reports:  Rod Williams gave report on opened & closed cases.
Unfinished Business:  None
New Business:     A mass mailing of all voter I.D. card with the new voting address will be sent out by Michigan Election Resources, saving the township around 358.00 in bulk mail postage.
Read letter from clerk Nancy Austin, about her medical leave.
There will be a public hearing on June 30 to discuss the Master Plan as well as the Parks & Rec. Plan
Board Request:   Request to repair the Township siren at a cost of 1545.00  Terry Acton motioned to accept and was seconded by John Sherrer.  All in favor, aye.  M/C.
Discussed the bids between Nitro Computer & I.T. Right for new server.  John Scherrer motioned that we accept the bid from Nitro Computer, it was seconded by Lee Dancer.  All in favor, aye.  M/C.
Maye motioned to accept price of 8500.00 from Yeo & Yeo for year end audit. Seconded by Terry Acton.  All in favor, aye.  M/C.
Maye Rood read Loan Resolution 13-16.  For the purpose to lock in the funds and interest on the bond.  Maye Rood motioned to accept, seconded by Terry Acton.  Roll call vote taken.  Maye Rood aye, Lee Dancer aye, Terry Acton aye & John Scherrer aye.  M/C.
Maye Rood read Resolution 13-17, regarding FOIA request.  Was tabled until June board workshop, as fee table was not attached.
Maye Rood submitted Expense Reimbursement policy 5-20-14(03).  Terry Acton motion to accept, and was seconded by Lee Dancer.  All in favor, aye.  M/C.
Discussed estimate for trial weekend patrols for the four major holidays.  Due to the short notice, Memorial Day will be higher cost.  Motion made  by John Scherrer and seconded by Lee Dancer.  All in favor, aye. M/C.
Terry Action motioned to accept estimates on road improvements from the Clare County Road Commission for Cranberry Lk. Rd. between Ball & Hamliton and Old 27 & Harrison Ave, also a short section of Eberhart.  Will also be an estimate on Townline Lk. Rd.  That cost will be split with county, but was informed by the Road Commission, that they probably not be able to fund this year.
Terry Acton motioned to appoint  Norma Swafford to the Planning Commission.  Was seconded by Lee Dancer.  All in favor, aye.  M/C.
Terry Acton motioned to appoint Mrs. Downs as an alternate on the ZBA.  Lee Dancer seconded, all in favor, aye.  M/C.
Public Comments:  Resident Martha Davis, voiced concerned regarding the ORV problem in Pineywoods.   Board discussed and she was asked to contact Township next week to discuss.
