Supervisor Acton called the General Meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. at the Hayes Township Hall, 2055 E. Townline Lake Road.
Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Motion Acton/Rood to approve agenda.  All Ayes, Motion carried

Discussion on the MTA Guidelines for COVID-19 and Governor Whitmer guidelines for OMA were discussed.
Motion Rood/Haley to close Hayes Municipal Complex to the public for 2 weeks until April 3, 2020, essential officials will work a limited schedule.  This closing will be extended if Governor Whitmer extends the stay at home order.  All Ayes, motion carried.
Motion Buckley/Acton to pursue Penal Fine Ordinance.  All Ayes, motion carried.
Discussion on paying the Hayes Township dedicated hourly staff during the closing of the office due to COVID-19 stay at home order.
Motion Hoyt/Rood to pay hourly employees per their normal scheduled hours for the 2 weeks the office is closed.  This payment will be extended if Governor Whitmer extends the stay at home order.  All Ayes, motion carried.
